Diffle is a Wordle-inspired game that tests players' ability to decipher a cryptic term using the fewest possible letters and the offered hints.
How to play
The object of the game Diffle is to guess the keyword as rapidly as you can using the fewest letters possible. The keyword must be recognized as a real word.
- Guessing: In the game's interface, you can guess by typing words. Your guesses must all be correct word guesses. You type your guess and press the enter key to submit it.
- Clues: After each guess, the game will give you a hint. The way the tiles' colors change serves as a representation of the hints. How closely your prediction matched the actual keyword is shown by how the color changes. The correctness of your guess is typically indicated by a specific color code, such as green for the letters that are correct in the right location, yellow for the letters that are correct in the wrong position, and red for the letters that are incorrect.
- Using the hints: Pay attention to how the color of the tiles changes after each guess. You can improve your odds of correctly guessing the keyword by altering the letters and positions of your successive guesses in light of the given hints.
Similar to Wordle, Diffle requires players to utilize deduction and the process of elimination to reduce the list of potential answers based on the given clues.
